Epic book club as usual.
With lots of snacks and deliciousness from target, provided by Mike.
Lots of cheese, crackers, meats, wine, baklava.
Yes, I said baklava and it was DELISH!
We also decided that as book clubbers, we get first dibs on all the amazingly retro items in Mike's grandparents' house should they ever decide to have a garage sale.
Love it!
So coming up we have the holidays. Wha-hoo. Hopefully you each have something special planned. I know I am looking forward to all the post-Christmas gifts I plan to buy myself should I not receive them :)
It's all about the spirit of the season after all.
And then, late January we have CPBC #18 at Sarah and Ben's. Hopefully no blizzard this time.
And hopefully the new format will work out wherein we each read the book we won at the dice game.
Bee Tee Dubs: need dice? There's an app for that! Awesome, complete with sound. I think they dick you our of doubles more than normal chance would but that's probably just me and my fear of technology.
