CPBC- Ready to melt faces at Michelle's place Sunday July 10th for a reading of Bossypants by Tina Fey.
Picked that little baby up yesterday and made a pretty decent dent already.
This usually amounts to a book I will enjoy.
I have to say, I was more than happy to interrupt my brief but depressing start to a book where the mother of an adopted child discovers he was actually abducted from a loving family who wants him back asap.
Yes, I have to say Tina Fey is offering some respite.
I dont know why I let people give me these types of books.
Oh well.
In that vein, if anyone is into some sci-fi tween books with a bit less of a twilighty feel, Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series has me totally hooked.

A little less melodrama, characters are a bit more complex, plus, no Kristen Stewart. Yay!
Cheers, see you in a few weeks... if I am still alive.
Wedding planning is for the masochistic only.
